A MESSAGE FROM Our Pastors

Hello! Welcome to Central Assembly. We are excited to welcome you into the family. The best way to understand what Central is all about is to experience a service for yourself. When you come to visit, we would love to meet you. Val and I look forward to walking side by side with you as we encounter the power of our relentless God.

-Pastor Wally and Val Reames

MEET THE TEAM

  • Pastor Wally Reames III

    Lead Pastor // leadpastor@cagmuskegon.org

Pastor Wally and Val were elected as our Lead Pastoral Team at Central Assembly of God in the summer of 2014. Prior to that, they served as Lead Pastors of LifeLine Victory Center in Vassar, MI for 15 years. Before Vassar, they served as the Youth Pastors here at Central AG for over 6 years. Wally and Val are filled with a passion for ministering to the whole body of Christ; helping each person to discover their God-given gifts, empowering them to reach full potential in the Kingdom. They believe that the church should be just as passionate about carrying out the Jesus-mandated mission to reach the world with the life-changing message of God's love.

  • Pastor Dan Justin

    WORSHIP & YOUTH Pastor // PASTORDAN@cagmuskegon.org

Pastor Dan has been serving on staff at Central AG since August 2016. He loves to be a catalyst for change in the world and believes that change starts with the hearts of people. Pastor Dan is energized when he sees change and growth in people from the inside out. His favorite thing about Central AG is the passion for God's Word that flows through every department of ministry. He proclaims "God is good and God is alive and it's our job to show the world!"

  • Pastor Anne-Marie Poehl

    Discipleship Pastor // discipleshippastor@cagmuskegon.org

Pastor Anne has been on staff at Central AG since 2014. As our Discipleship Pastor, she has a great passion to see everyone be discipled and to be discipling someone else as they go through life. One of her favorite things about Central AG are the people. She describes the community as a group of people who love God and love showing Him in all kinds of ways to our community. Pastor Anne claims "People and puppies are some of her favorite treasures."

  • Pastor Jim Thiele

    Pastoral Care Pastor // pastoralcare@cagmuskegon.org

Pastor Jim Thiele has been a part of Central Assembly of God on and off for over 24 years. He and his wife, Hester, lead our Pastoral Care Team that ministers to the body with home and hospital visits. They lead teams by assisting in our Guest Follow-Up program and lead our Prayer Ministry team. Jim is a servant that exemplifies the serving attitude of Christ in all that he does.

  • Jen Corbin

    Office Administrator // JEn@cagmuskegon.org

Jen has been a member of Central AG since July of 1986 and has been on staff for 25 years. During her time at Central AG she has served in just about every area of ministry: music, drama, outreach, Christian education, youth, pastoral care, nursery, receptionist, office manager, and assistant to the Lead Pastor. Jen's favorite thing about Central AG is the church's heart for missions and the way the church acts urgently to fill a need - whether it's across the street or across the ocean. Fun fact about Jen: "While a student, I was a speech writer for the college president and I collect Pez dispensers."

  • Suzanne Barham

    Receptionist // suzanne@cagmuskegon.org

Suzanne has been the receptionist at Central AG since 2008 and has been a member of the church since 1982. She loves being a part of the family at Central AG. Suzanne is passionate about reaching women and pouring into them to be all that God has called them to be according to His Word. To apply her passions, Suzanne leads a Monday night Bible Study each Winter and Spring. Her favorite thing about Central AG is that it is a place to find hope and direction as the Word is preached and carried out in the lives of it's members. Suzanne says "I am the oldie but goodie in the office and try to have all the answers. I am trying harder to use my 'inside' voice most of the time!"

  • Tami Nederhoed

    Bookkeeper // tami@cagmuskegon.org

Tami has attended Central for 17 years and started working in the church office in 2001 as the Bookkeeper. After a three year hiatus she returned to the office in 2014 and resumed her position as the Bookkeeper. Tami and her husband, Richard, have four grown children and "four of the cutest grandchildren on the planet!"
